Tehran is prepared to restart nuclear talks with the United States provided that it is treated with "respect" and "respect", Iran's foreign minister has stated.

Abbas Araghchi declared exclusively dialogue was effective, and shared new appeals had originated from mediators to resume negotiations with the American leadership. Afterward, EU nations employed their privilege to restore international penalties, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.

Ideal Resolution Suggested

Iran's diplomats claimed they felt they had achieved a "magic solution" to the enrichment issue in earlier negotiations, when it was decided an Iran-based consortium with American involvement could refine atomic fuel. Each party would have been able to claim victory since local refinement would have remained and the US could be assured that Iran's atomic project was entirely non-military.

It had not been settled in the negotiations that Washington's technical specialists could function within Iranian territory, but that was a reasonable assumption of the partnership suggestion. Officials stated three times they had reached agreement with Washington's diplomat Steve Witkoff only for the agreement to disintegrate due to "opponents in the US".

Existing Situation
